House, Pet & Smallholding Sitting in Herefordshire

Looking for an experienced house and pet sitter in Herefordshire who is comfortable caring for horses, livestock and mixed-animal households as well as domestic pets? A3 House & Pet Sitting provides professional live-in care for rural homes, equestrian properties and smallholdings throughout Herefordshire and nationwide across the UK.

Established in 2008 and backed by a BSc (Hons) in Equine Science, a National Diploma in Equine Studies and extensive practical animal-care experience, I provide knowledgeable, reliable care tailored to your usual routines. Your animals remain in their own familiar surroundings while your home and property are also looked after during your absence.

Experienced Horse & Equine Sitting in Herefordshire

For horse owners, finding someone who is genuinely experienced around horses can be just as important as finding someone to look after the house. My equine background extends well beyond recreational horse ownership and includes professional yard and stud experience alongside my formal qualifications.

Care can include feeding, turnout and bringing in, rugging, grooming, mucking out, medication where appropriate, and maintaining established stable and yard routines. Where a property has horses alongside dogs, cats or other animals, I can care for the whole household as one live-in sitter.

Smallholding & Rural Property Sitting in Herefordshire

Herefordshire's rural character makes it particularly relevant to the type of specialist sitting I provide. Smallholdings and mixed-animal properties can require considerably more practical experience than conventional pet sitting, particularly where several species have different feeding and management routines.

Having grown up on a smallholding and cared for a wide variety of animals over many years, I am comfortable with mixed-animal households. Depending on your individual setup, this can include sheep, goats, pigs, chickens, ducks, geese and other poultry, as well as horses, dogs and cats.

I follow your established routines carefully rather than imposing a different system while you are away. Staying at the property also provides a reassuring presence for the home, land and animals throughout the booking.

Live-In House & Pet Sitting Across Herefordshire

I provide live-in house and pet sitting throughout Herefordshire, including rural homes and properties around Hereford, Ledbury, Ross-on-Wye, Leominster, Bromyard, Kington and the surrounding countryside.

The service is particularly suited to owners who would prefer their animals to remain at home rather than moving dogs or cats into boarding and arranging separate care for horses or other animals. One experienced live-in sitter can care for the home and the different animals together.

Although this page is specifically for clients looking for a house and pet sitter in Herefordshire, A3 House & Pet Sitting operates nationwide. I am accustomed to travelling for suitable bookings and regularly provide live-in care away from my home area.
